AMS Seeks Comments on Proposed Grade Standards for Frozen Onions

The Agricultural Marketing Service is seeking comments on a proposal to create new U.S. Standards for Grades for frozen onions, it said (here). The grade standards would provide a common language for trade, a means of measuring value in the marketing of frozen onions, and guidance on the effective use of frozen onions, it said. Comments are due Jan. 23.
