The Kalencom Corporation, on the classification of paper-covered boxes. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 4202.92.9060 (17.6%). Kalencom says it should have instead been classified under subheading 4202.99.10 (3.4%). #16-00220. Filed Oct. 24.

Louis Vuitton North America, challenging the assessment of antidumping duties at 247.65% on its entries of narrow woven ribbons with woven selvedge. Louis Vuitton says CBP should have instead assessed duties at 123.44%. #16-231. Filed Oct. 26.

Colakoglu Metalurji A.S. and Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S., challenging the final determination in Commerce's antidumping duty investigation on hot-rolled steel flat products from Turkey. #16-00232. Filed Oct. 28.

Nucor Corporation, challenging the final determination in the International Trade Commission's injury determination in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on hot-rolled steel flat products from Turkey. #16-00233. Filed Oct. 28.

​Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Oct. 24-30:

The Aluminum Extrusions Fair Trade Committee, challenging an Aug. 26 CIT decision affirming that kitchen appliance door handles imported by Whirlpool are not subject to antidumping and countervailing duties on aluminum extrusions from China because they have undergone an assembly operation (see 1609010054). #17-1117. Filed Oct. 26.
