  • WTO issues dispute settlement panel report in EU case against Russia for duties on imported agricultural and manufactured goods. The panel found that 11 of the 12 Russian tariff measures that the EU challenged were inconsistent with the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. The EU claimed that Russian tariff measures on paper and paperboard, palm oil "and its fractions," refrigerators and combined refrigerator-freezers, led to application of normal customs duties above Russia's scheduled bound rates (here).
