Russia Ammonium Nitrate: Commerce Ends AD Duties

The Commerce Department is revoking the antidumping duty order on ammonium nitrate from Russia (A-821-811), it said in the final results of a sunset review (here). Commerce is terminating the order because no domestic ammonium nitrate producers notified the agency that they had an interest in keeping AD duties in place. Effective for entries on or after Aug. 20, 2016, Commerce will direct CBP to end suspension of liquidation and CV duty cash deposit requirements. Commerce may still assess AD duties on ammonium nitrate from Russia entered Aug. 20, 2016, or earlier.
