APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for May 18
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes May 18 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections:
Throughout the manual's reference sections (all chapters beginning with the number 3):
- Notice boxes containing language regarding VS Form 16-6A have been deleted
Appendix G Certificates and Forms
- FORMER Figure G-1-6 VS Form 16-6A U.S. Veterinary Permit for Importation and Transportation of Controlled Materials and Organisms and Vectors (PRIOR TO July 1, 2015) - figure has been deleted
- NEW Figure G-1-6 VS Form 16-6A U.S. Veterinary Permit for Importation and Transportation of Controlled Materials and Organisms and Vectors - figure title has been revised
Appendix H List of Veterinarians
- Page H-1-2 under PPQ-AQI-VMO Director heading - Dr. Wohler's contact information has been corrected
