U.S. government seeking 3,612,343.68 in penalties and unpaid duties, plus interest, from Kenneth Chew, a customs broker, for entering merchandise on behalf of his clients by means of false statements. #16-00081. Filed May 9.

Shin-Etsu MicroSi on the classification of silicone-based thermal greases. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 3824.90.2800 (6.5%). Shin-Etsu says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3910.00.0000 (3%). #16-00082. Filed May 9.

Zhong Ya Chemical (USA) Ltd. challenging liquidation instructions sent by the Commerce Department to CBP that it says resulted in excessive assessment of antidumping duties. #16-00083. Filed May 11.

Weihai Zhongwei Rubber Co., Ltd. challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China. #16-00084. Filed May 12.

DIS Vintage on the classification of clothing. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading under HTS subheading 6110.30.59 (32%). DIS Vintage says it should have been classified as worn clothing under subheading 6309.00.0010 (free). #16-00085. Filed May 12.

BOMAG Americas on the classification of landfill compactors and machinery for public works. CBP classified the merchandise under HTS subheadings 8479.89.98 (2.5%). BOMAG says it should have been classified under subheading 8479.10.00 (free), or alternatively 8429.19.00 (free) and 8430.50.50 (free). #16-00086. Filed May 13.
