Magid Glove & Safety Manufacturing on the classification of knit fabric gloves covered in polyurethane. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 6116.10.5520 (13.2%). Magid says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3926.20.1050 (free). #16-00040, -00044. Filed March 7 and March 11.

Markwins International Corp. on the classification of cosmetic sets. CBP classified the merchandise under various subheadings under HTS heading 4202, dutiable at 18.3 to 20 percent. Markwins says it should have been classified under subheading 3304.99.5000 (free) and 8214.20.9000 (4.1%). #16-00041. Filed March 8.

Textiles from Europe on the classification of a bedding assortment in a reusable PVC storage bag. CBP classified the merchandise under HTS subheading 9404.90.8522, dutiable at 12.8%. Textiles from Europe says it should have been classified under subheadings 9404.90.8522 (12.8%), 6303.92.2050 (11.3%), 6304.93.0000 (9.3%), 9404.90.2000 (6%), and 3924.90.5650 (3.4%). #16-00042. Filed March 9.

Nutricia North America on the classification of gastrointestinal, metabolic, metabolic PKU and neurology products. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 2106.90.9998 (6.4%). Nutricia says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3004.50.50 (free) or 9817.00.96 (free). #16-00043. Filed March 11.

DynaEnergetics challenging a Feb. 12 Commerce Department ruling that found its mechanical tube for oil well perforating guns is subject to antidumping and countervailing duties on oil country tubular goods from China (see 1603040035). #16-00044. Filed March 11.

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of March 6-13:

The Container Store appealing a Jan. 21 CIT decision that found parts for its "elfa" modular storage furniture system are classifiable as parts of general use, not parts of furniture. #16-1666. Filed March 7.

Maverick Tube, U.S. Steel and Borusan appealing a Feb. 22 CIT decision sustaining a redetermination of the countervailing duty investigation on oil country tubular goods from Turkey. #16-1656, 16-1689. Filed March 7, March 11.
