State Dept. to Hold Maritime Committee Meetings

The State Department will conduct the following open meetings in preparation for the following upcoming meetings of International Maritime Organization (IMO) subcommittees:

  • Preparatory meeting on Feb. 10 in advance of IMO Pollution Prevention and Response (PPR 3) Subcommittee meeting to be held Feb. 15-19 at IMO Headquarters in the United Kingdom (here). The prep meeting will start at 10 a.m. in the Oklahoma Room of Transportation Department Headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Ave. SE, Washington, D.C. 20590.
  • Preparatory meeting on Feb. 24 in advance of meeting of IMO Subcommittee on Navigation, Communication, and Search and Rescue to be held Feb. 29-March 4 at IMO Headquarters (here). The prep meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services, 1611 N. Kent St., Suite 605, Arlington, Va. 22209.
  • Preparatory meeting on March 8 in advance of IMO Ship Systems and Equipment Subcommittee meeting to be held March 14-18 at IMO Headquarters (here). The prep meeting will start at 10 a.m. at the headquarters of the Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services, 1611 N. Kent St., Suite 605, Arlington, Va. 22209.
