The broadband service is part of the company's plans announced in 2012 to move from phone and video service to growing, higher-margin data business, Might said. "We could straddle and try to do both, but we do not believe in straddling," he said. Residential voice revenue was down 21.1 percent and residential video down 6.9 percent, while residential data was up 10.2 percent, Cable One said.
