Ningxia Guanghua Cherishmet Activated Carbon Co., Ltd., Beijing Pacific Activated Carbon Products Co., Ltd., Datong Municipal Yunguang Activated Carbon Co., Ltd., and Cherishmet Inc. challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on activated carbon from China. #15-00293. ABB Inc. challenging CBP's valuation of its transformers. ABB says CBP erroneously included in transaction value some non-dutiable and post-importation charges, harbor maintenance and merchandise processing fees. #15-00294. Filed Oct. 27.

Tokyo Ohka Kogyo America Inc. on the classification of photoresists and other chemical products for photographic uses. CBP classified the merchandise under subheading 3707.90.32 (6.5%). Ohka Kogyo says it should have instead been classified under subheading 3707.10.00 (3%). #15-00295. Filed Oct. 28.

Evonik Rexim (Nanning) Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. and Evonik Corporation challenging the final results of the 2013-14 antidumping duty administrative review on glycine from China. #15-00296. Filed Oct. 29.

​Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Oct. 26 - Nov. 1:

Sigma Tau HealthScience appealing a Sept. 3 CIT decision finding its L-carnitine vitamins are classifiable as ammonium salts rather than as vitamins, and are ineligible for duty free treatment because they are found in only one table of the HTS Pharmaceutical Appendix. #16-1125. Filed Oct. 27.

American Tubular Products and Jiangsu Chengde Steel Tube Share Co., Ltd. appealing an Aug. 28 CIT decision sustaining antidumping duty rates on entries of oil country tubular goods from China in 2010 and 2011. #16-1127. Filed Oct. 27.
