Zojirushi America Corporation on the eligibility for duty free entry under the Generalized System of Preferences of its rice cooker and steamer, and whether it properly raised its GSP claim by filing a protest under 19 USC 1514. #15-00256. Filed Sept. 8.
Americana Development Inc. dba Monitor Manufacturing on the classification of lawn mower tires. CBP classified the merchandise under subheadings 4011.99.8500 (3.4%). Americana says it should have instead been classified under subheading 4011.92.0000 (free) or 9817.00.6000 (free). #15-00257. Filed Sept. 9.
China Rubber Industry Association and the Sub-Committee of Tire Producers of the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemical Importers challenging the International Trade Commission's final injury determination in the antidumping and countervailing duty investigations on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China. #15-00258. Filed Sept. 9.
Hartford Fire Insurance challenging CBP claims on bonds covering entries of garlic. Hartford says the bonds should be canceled because they contained errors, and in some instances CBP did not collect cash deposits. #15-00259-61. Filed Sept. 10.
