  • Canada imposes increased economic sanctions against Russia. The Canadian Government has announced that it is expanding the economic sanctions against Russia by imposing a ban on activities related to the Crimea region which include exports, imports, technical data and service bans. (here)
  • Certain feminine hygiene products. The CBSA has released Customs Notice 15-025 which removes the GST and HST from tampons and certain feminine products and is effective July 1 (here)
  • The National Energy Board approves Quicksilver export license. The National Energy Board has announced that it has approved Quicksilver Resource Canada Inc. for a 25 year natural gas export license. (here)
  • NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. DFAIT updated the 2015 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports (here) and exports. (here)
