State Designates Two Greeks as Global Terrorists

The State Department designated Christodoulos Xiros (here) and Nikolaos Maziotis (here), both of Greece, as Specially Designated Global Terrorists. The designation includes prohibitions against knowingly providing, attempting or conspiring to provide material support or resources or engaging in transactions with the individual. The designation also freezes all property and interests of the individuals in the U.S. or in the control of U.S. citizens. Both individuals have long been part of violent efforts to fight the Greek government and Western interests, State says (here).
