Meyer Corp. challenging the denial of first sale treatment and Generalized System of Preferences treatment on entries of cookware. #15-00092-93. Filed March 24.

Hartford Fire Insurance challenging CBP claims on bonds covering entries of crawfish. Hartford says the bonds should be canceled because they contained errors and CBP didn't collect cash deposits. #15-00094. Filed March 26.

Arbed Americas challenging the assessment of antidumping duties on entries of stainless steel plate in coils. CBP assessed duties at 24.43%, but Arbed says duties should have been assessed "as entered" at 9.86%. #15-00095. Filed March 26.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of March 23-29:

Digidesign appealing a CIT decision issued Jan. 22 that found its control surfaces for use in the audio industry to record and edit music should be classified as electrical machinery, and not automatic data processing machines (see 1501220066). #15-1486. Filed March 23.

Dongguan Sunrise Furniture Co., Ltd.; Taicang Fairmont Designs Furniture Co., Ltd.; Meizhou Sunrise Furniture Co., Ltd.; Taicang Sunrise Wood Industry Co., Ltd.; American Furniture Manufacturers Committee for Legal Trade; Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company, Inc.; and the United States government appealing a Jan. 14 decision affirming on remand the 2008-10 antidumping duty administrative review on wooden bedroom furniture from China. #15-1487. Filed March 24.

Papierfabrik August Koehler SE appealing a Jan. 20 decision on its rate from the 2010-11 antidumping duty administrative review on lightweight thermal paper from Germany. #15-1489. Filed March 25.
