The Consumer Protection and Data Security Subcommittee will have six members, including ranking member Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., a leadership choice Nelson announced last month. Other Democratic members of that subcommittee are Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Tom Udall of New Mexico.
