Spokespeople for McCaskill and Commerce didn't confirm Monday whether such a hearing may happen Dec. 10. One industry official said McCaskill is seeking witnesses from big cable, satellite TV, the American Cable Association and Public Knowledge. McCaskill chairs the Consumer Protection Subcommittee.
