  • EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. In light of the current political situation in Ukraine, the EU has agreed to allow privileged access to the EU market and delay implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area portion of the Agreement until December 2015. (here)
  • AD: Russia - LCVs. The EU has requested a World Trade Organization (WTO) panel to rule on duties of 23% to 29.6% applied by Russia on imports of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from Germany and Italy. The EU is saying the duties conflict with the concessions Russia was supposed to make as part of their accession to the WTO. (here)
  • Public comment on toxic substance. The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) has opened a new period for public comments on the reproductive toxicity of acetochlor. The second public consultation is based on a review of initial reports filed and comments are due by October 6, 2014. (here)
  • Recalls. The European Commission issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of 36 products in the EU, including certain clothing, toys, cosmetics, motor vehicles, and electrical appliances. (here)
