  • G7 meeting. The Brussels G7 Summit is taking place June 4-5. The situation in Ukraine and relations with Russia are on the agenda of the meeting, as well as other foreign policy topics, the global economy, trade, energy security, climate change and development. (here)
  • Latest annual trade defense report. The EU has issued the latest annual report on trade defense actions initiated by non-EU countries against the EU. At the end of 2013 there was a total of 152 measures in force against the EU or its Member States, which is an increase of 14 measures from the year prior. India and China took the most actions.   • Recalls. The European Commission issued its weekly list of measures to prevent or restrict the marketing or use of 40 products in the EU, including certain clothing, toys, cosmetics, motor vehicles, child care articles, and electrical appliances. (here)
