Cultural Property Advisory Committee Renewed for Two Years, Says State

The State Department Cultural Property Advisory Committee charter has been renewed for an additional two years. The committee reviews requests from foreign countries that seek U.S. import restrictions on threatened archaeological or ethnological material. The committee then makes import restriction recommendations to the administration.
