Census Releases AES Trouble-Shooting Tips

Fatal Error 334: Ultimate Consignee State Must Be A U.S. State Code

Reason: The Ultimate Consignee Country Code reported is U.S. and the Ultimate Consignee State Code is not a valid U.S. State, territory or possession.

Resolution: The reported Ultimate Consignee State Code must represent a valid U.S. state, territory or possession when the Ultimate Consignee Country Code is reported as U.S.

Fatal Error 335: Ultimate Consignee State Must Be A MX State

Reason: The Ultimate Consignee Country Code reported is MX and the Ultimate Consignee State Code is not a valid two-character Mexican State Code.

Resolution: The reported Ultimate Consignee State Code must represent a valid two-character Mexican State Code when the Ultimate Consignee Country Code is reported as MX. Verify the Ultimate Consignee State Code and Ultimate Consignee Country Code, correct the shipment and resubmit.
