State Dept. Committee to Discuss UN Dispute Mechanism for Cross-border e-Commerce

The State Department Advisory Committee on Private International Law Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Study Group will hold a public meeting on March 14 in Washington D.C. The committee members plan to discuss the next session of the UN Commission on International Trade Law ODR working group, scheduled for March 24-28 in New York City. The UN ODR working group is in the process of developing ODR rules for resolution of cross-border electronic commerce disputes, which may include a cross-border enforcement mechanism and other provisions.
