According to the attorney’s office, Chin attempted to export accelerometers designated on the U.S. Munitions List. The accelerometers are designed for use in spacecraft. Chin was arrested after coming to pick up the order and paying $85,000 for the accelerometers. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $1 million.
