BIS Schedules Materials Technical Advisory Committee Open Meeting

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security said the Materials Technical Advisory Committee will meet on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. in the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington D.C. The agenda includes discussion of Automated Export System changes, among other subject matter. The Committee advises the Office of the BIS Assistant Secretary for Export Administration with respect to technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials and related technology. Inquiries must be submitted by Jan. 30.
