BIS Schedules Public Meetings on Export Regulations

The Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) scheduled the following public meetings in December:

Timely, relevant coverage of court proceedings and agency rulings involving tariffs, classification, valuation, origin and antidumping and countervailing duties.   • The Emerging Technology and Research Advisory Committee (ETRAC) will meet Dec. 19 at 8:30 a.m. at Commerce Department headquarters to discuss the administration Export Control Reform Initiative. Those interested in attending should submit inquiries by Dec. 12 (here).
  • The President's Export Council Subcommittee on Export Administration will meet via teleconference on Dec. 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m to discuss the Export Administration Act. Those interested in attending should submit inquiries by Dec. 6 (here).
  • The Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee (RPTAC) will meet Dec. 10 at 9 a.m. in Commerce Department headquarters to discuss implementation of the Export Administration Regulations. Those interested in attending should submit inquiries by Dec. 3 (here).
