BIS Schedules Export Advisory Committee Meetings

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security will hold the following Export Administration advisory committee meetings:

Timely, relevant coverage of court proceedings and agency rulings involving tariffs, classification, valuation, origin and antidumping and countervailing duties.   • The Materials Processing Equipment Technical Advisory Committee (MPETAC) will meet (here) on Nov. 5, 9:00 a.m. EST.
  • The Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee (ISTAC) will meet (here) on Nov. 6 and 7, 9:00 a.m. EST.
  • The Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee (SITAC) will meet (here) on Nov. 12, 9:30 a.m. EST.
  • The Transportation and Related Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will meet (here) on Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m. EST.

Some portions of the meetings are closed to the general public. The meetings will be held in the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington, D.C. The open sessions will be accessible via teleconference to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a limited number of seats available on location.
