The service will be available Sept. 26, and will use Avanti’s HYLAS 2 Ka-band capacity, it said. Libya’s complex geography and poor terrestrial infrastructure “means satellite-based broadband Internet is quickly becoming the only high-speed solution for the majority of the country,” Newtec said.
