Traditional citizen outreach doesn’t work, he said, criticizing public and committee hearings: “The City should take advantage of video conferencing, Facebook apps, and cool locally developed technologies like Ideascale (for crowdsourcing ideas) and Living Voters’ Guide (for vetting ideas and improving them.”
