Oxenford said Wheeler’s blog posts have also suggested “the old media” needs to adjust to new media and that “television owners themselves should be paying more attention to digital media.” President Barack Obama said last week he is nominating Wheeler to replace outgoing Chairman Julius Genachowski (CD May 2 p1).
