AES Down for Scheduled Maintenance April 20-21

The Automated Export System will be down April 20 from 11 p.m.-3 a.m. on April 21 for scheduled maintenance, according to an AES Broadcast 2013030 from the Census Bureau. During the outage, incoming AES shipments will be stored in a queue; once the AES is restored, processing will continue and messages will be returned to the filers. The AESDirect website will remain available, but shipments will remain in queue until CBP completes the scheduled maintenance. AES Downtime Policy will be enacted for the outage, and Census strongly recommends filing shipments prior to the outage.
