Docomo Pacific agreed to pay a fine of $65,000 and take other steps in response to an FCC investigation of whether the company offered the required number of digital wireless hearing aid-compatible handsets during 2009. Docomo agreed to designate a compliance officer, establish a compliance plan and to report any further noncompliance within 15 days of its discovery, according to a consent decree (http://bit.ly/YLAFdL). Docomo Pacific serves Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
