CBP Lists HTS Nos, Etc. for Colombia TPA Sugar TRQ

The list of tariff numbers for the Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement's sugar tariff rate quota were posted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The notice lists 48 HTS Chapter 17 - 21 tariff numbers under HTS 9822.08.01 for sugar that is within the TRQ restraint level, adding that above the TRQ level, the normal "column 1" rates apply.

The first TRQ period is May 15 - December 31, 2012, and the TRQ level is 50,000,000 kg under HTS Chapter 98, Subchapter XXII, U.S. Note 32.

CBP states that due to Automated Commercial System (ACS) limitations, Automated Broker Interface (ABI) quantity information will not be available for this HTS combination. Quantity information for Colombian TPA Sugar can be found on the weekly “Commodity Report” on CBP.gov or email HQ.Quota@dhs.gov.
