CBP Opens ACS and ACE for Colombia TPA Claims, Announces HS Update

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said the ACS (EI) and ACE (AE) systems are now automated to accept Colombia TPA claims (here).

CBP also said Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1205 was created on May 15, 2012 and contains 104,645 ABI records and 20,681 harmonized tariff records. Modifications were made as a result of the US-Columbia Trade Promotion Agreement, effective May 15, 2012. The full report can be found on the USITC’s website (here). The CBP announcement is (here).

Adjustments required by the authentication of the 2012 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) are also included. The modified records are currently available to all ABI participants and can be retrieved electronically via the procedures indicated in the CATAIR.
