2016 and a tender offer to purchase for cash up to $470 million of its $1.05 billion of outstanding 11.25 percent senior notes due 2016, Intelsat said in a news release Thursday. Intelsat Jackson also intends to offer to sell $800 million of aggregate principal amount of 7.25 percent senior notes due 2020, and the unit will use the proceeds to repurchase the other debt, Intelsat said.
