Canadian Government Notices for Mar 6-7
The Government of Canada issued the following trade-related notices for March 6-7, 2012 (note that some may also be given separate headlines)

- Canada-U.S. Supply Chain. The Minister of International Trade Ed Fast announced that he would be participating in a conference in Washington from March 7-12 to discuss the benefits from close Canada-U.S. cooperation and fully integrated supply chains that create jobs and prosperity on both sides of the shared border. - Changes to U.S. port of exit and free trade zones. CBSA issued Customs Notice 12-007 which will take effect on May 28, 2012 and updates the U.S. port of exit codes and U.S. free trade zones valid for use on Form B, Canada Customs Coding Form. (here)
- NAFTA textile/apparel TPL utilization. DFAIT updated the 2012 NAFTA textile and apparel tariff preference level utilization rate for imports and exports. (here)
- Hot rolled Carbon steel Plate expiry order. The CITT gave notice that concerning the dumping of hot rolled carbon steel plate originating in or exported from China will be left in force and that the order pertaining to South Africa and Russia will be rescinded. (here)
- Pakistan potassium silicate solids. CBSA announced that is investigating the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain potassium silicate solids originating or exported from the Pakistan. CITT will now begin a preliminary inquiry to determine whether the imports are harming Canadian producers. (here)
- Product Recalls. Gore Ride on Brakes for Road Bike Cable Systems manufactured in Taiwan. (here)
