CBP Updates CATAIR Chapter on ACE PGA Message Set

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted the change record for the CATAIR chapter on the ACE PGA Message Set, which lists the following changes:

Timely, relevant coverage of court proceedings and agency rulings involving tariffs, classification, valuation, origin and antidumping and countervailing duties.   • Chapter Header/Participating Government Agencies- Edited text to indicate the message set does not stand alone, and that Correction Capabilities are to be determined. Also added general rules for transmission of data elements (e.g., upper case, alpha numeric, etc.).
  • Record Identifier OA (Input) - The OA related to disclaiming an entry. This record was deleted and the ability to disclaim was included in the PG01 record.
  • Record Identifier OI (Input) - Revised header description to make this a mandatory record.
  • Record Identifier PG01 (Input) - Added a data element to allow for disclaiming an agency requirement.
