State Updates Procedures for Use of FedWire to Pay Registration Fees

The State Department has posted a notice stating that the FedWire Electronic Payment Procedures for U.S. Entities have been updated as of December 21, 2011. Updated procedures are available here.

(The State Department issued a final rule, effective December 6, 2011, which amended the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to identify the Federal Reserve Wire Network (FedWire) as another method of electronic payment of registration fees, in order to provide a choice in and facilitate the submission of fees by registrants.
