October 2011 CHB Exam Had 25% Pass Rate, No Problem Questions

U.S. Customs and Border Protection sources have informed Broker Power that the pass rate for the October 2011 customs broker license exam was 25%. There were no problem questions.

Pass Rate Higher than April Exam, Similar Number Took Exam

The 25% pass rate for the October 2011 exam is higher than the April 2011 exam, which had a pass rate of 19%. Approximately 1,500 persons took the exam in October, about the same number as took the April 2011 exam.

Those that passed the exam are eligible to apply for a customs brokers license.

No "Problem" Questions

According to the answer key and sources, the April exam had no "problem" questions.

Result Letters Mailed Out Last Week of November

Sources added that the letters informing those that sat for the exam of their results were mailed out during the last week of November 2011.
