CPSC Extends Comments on Need for Mandatory Table Saw Standards

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is extending the comment period on its October 2011 advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) on whether a mandatory performance safety standard or other requirement is needed to address an unreasonable risk of injury associated with table saws. Comments are now due by February 10, 2012 (from December 12, 2011).
