2012 TRQ for Dried Milk, Cream, & Whey Opens Jan 3

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted a memorandum announcing that the 2012 tariff rate quota on dried milk, dried cream, and dried whey provided for in Chapter 4, Additional U.S. Note 12 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule will open on January 3, 2012.

Of the aggregate 296,000 kg low-duty quantity, 224,981 kg will require agricultural licenses. After this fills, a subsequent low-duty quantity of 71,019 kg can be imported without an agricultural license, subject to first-come, first-served quota.
