Parkdale Mills and Buhler Yarns state that they are willing and able to provide substitutable yarns in commercial quantities and in a timely manner.

(Currently these yarns are listed in Annex 3.25 (DR-CAFTA short supply list) and may be sourced from outside the DR-CAFTA region without destroying the eligibility for DR-CAFTA treatment for textiles and apparel.)

Determination to be Completed by August 31

The commercial availability investigation is projected to be completed by August 31, 2011.

1See Parkdale Mills' and Buhler Quality Yarns' petition for additional details of the yarns.

Responses are due by 11:59 p.m. EST on 08/03/11; rebuttal submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on 08/09/11.

Note - this notice was corrected on August 23, 2011 to indicate that this was a request remove, rather than add, the yarns from Annex 3.25.
