House Committee Releases Surface Transportation Reauthorization Proposal

On July 7, 2011, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee leaders presented a six-year reauthorization proposal to streamline and reform federal programs, expedite the project approval process, maximize leveraging of limited resources, provide flexibility for states, and ensure long-term funding stability for job-creating transportation programs.
