Senate Committee Approves Locke Nomination as Ambassador to China
On June 23, 2011, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee ordered favorably reported the nomination of Gary Locke to be the Ambassador to China. Locke has been serving as Secretary of Commerce. The nomination now goes to the Senate for its consideration.
