Orders Revoked due to ITC Negative Injury Determination Under Sunset Review
The ITA is revoking these AD and CV duty orders as a result of the determination by the ITC that revocation of the orders is not likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time.
Suspension of Liquidation/Cash Deposits Terminated Effective May 26, 2010
The effective date of revocation is May 26, 2010. The ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to terminate the suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits on merchandise subject to these AD and CV duty orders1 with a time of entry on or after May 26, 2010.
Entries of subject merchandise prior to the effective date of revocation will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and AD/CV duty deposit requirements.
ITA Will Conduct Requested Reviews on Entries Prior to May 26, 2010
The ITA will complete any pending administrative review of the orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to May 26, 2010 in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
1The subject products include certain hot-rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products of a rectangular shape, of a width of 0.5 inch or greater, neither clad, plated, nor coated with metal and whether or not painted, varnished, or coated with plastics or other non-metallic substances, in coils (whether or not in successively superimposed layers) regardless of thickness, and in straight lengths, of a thickness less than 4.75 mm and of a width measuring at least 10 times the thickness.
