CPSC Announces Open Meetings with Industry Stakeholders
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has updated its list of meetings between CPSC and its stakeholders that are open to the public, unless otherwise stated:

- UL meetings. Richard O’Brien, Director of International Programs and Intergovernmental Affairs, will serve as a panelist at the Annual Meeting of the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Other CPSC staff will be hearing about UL activities and standards to address fire and other hazards associated with some consumer products. 05/02/11 - 05/03/11
- Phthalates. Michael Babich, Directorate for Health Sciences, and other CPSC staff meeting with Paul Lioy, member of the Chronic Hazard Advisory Panel (CHAP) on phthalates, and Matthew Lorber, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, on human exposure to phthalates; 05/03/11
- Public database. Cheryl Falvey, General Counsel, Patrick Weddle, Chief Information Officer and other CPSC staff meeting by telephone with Society of Product Licensors Committed to Excellence (SPLICE) to discuss issues related to Licensors and the Publicly Available Consumer Product Safety Information Database; 05/05/11
