Senate Finance Chair Calls for Resolution of Beef Issues with Korea, Etc.
Senator Baucus (D), Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, has issued a press release urging the Administration to work to remove unscientific trade barriers affecting U.S. beef exports, particularly with Korea. Baucus notes that the Administration's recently released National Trade Estimates Report on Foreign Trade Barriers identifies several trading partners, including Korea, that impose barriers affecting U.S. beef exports.
