- Trade preferences. A bill to extend certain trade preference programs, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Ways and Means, and in addition to the Committees on Appropriations, and the Budget, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned. - Border security. A bill to establish a Border Enforcement Security Task Force program to enhance border security by fostering coordinated efforts among Federal, State, and local border and law enforcement officials to protect United States border cities and communities from trans-national crime, including violence associated with drug trafficking, arms smuggling, illegal alien trafficking and smuggling, violence, and kidnapping along and across the international borders of the United States, and for other purposes (H.R.915)
- Ban on climate change regulations. A bill to amend the Clean Air Act to prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from promulgating any regulation concerning, taking action relating to, or taking into consideration the emission of a greenhouse gas to address climate change, and for other purposes. - Great Lakes, Mississippi. A bill to require the Secretary of the Army to study the feasibility of the hydrological separation of the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Basins. (S.471)
- Chemical facility security. A bill to extend the chemical facility security program of the Department of Homeland Security, and for other purposes (S.473) (H.R.916)
- Regulations & small business. A bill to reform the regulatory process to ensure that small businesses are free to compete and to create jobs, and for other purposes. (S.474)
