Ways & Means Republican Leaders Express Support for KORUS FTA
On December 3, 2010, Representatives Camp (R) and Brady (R), Ranking Members of the House Ways and Means Committee and its Trade Subcommittee, issued a statement in response to the announcement of an agreement for the US- South Korea free trade agreement (KORUS FTA).

Representative Camp urged the U.S. and Korea to continue discussions on the outstanding issues relating to beef and stated that he looks forward to working, on a bipartisan basis and with the Administration, to implement this agreement. Camp also stated that he hopes to work closely with the Administration to establish a process to move forward with the Colombia and Panama FTAs so they, too, can be implemented and urges the President to commit to complete them both within six months.
Representative Brady stated that he looks forward to working with the Administration, his colleagues in Congress, and other stakeholders to move the agreement forward part of a robust trade agenda next year.
