- FTA with Turkey. A resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the U.S. should initiate negotiations to enter into a free trade agreement with Turkey (H. Res. 1748).
- Federal workforce. A bill to provide for reductions in the number of employees in Federal departments and agencies, freeze Federal employee compensation, reduce funding to the White House and Congress, and for other purposes (S. 3999).
- Baby monitors. A bill to require the Federal Communications Commission to promulgate regulations requiring a label to be displayed on the packaging of certain baby monitors to warn that the signals of such monitors may be intercepted by potential intruders (H.R. 6463).
- CBP personnel checks. A bill to require U.S. Customs and Border Protection to administer polygraph examinations to all applicants for law enforcement positions with CBP, to require CBP to initiate all periodic background reinvestigations of certain law enforcement personnel, and for other purposes (H.R. 6472).
