CPSC Announces Open Meetings with Industry Stakeholders
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has updated its list of meetings between CPSC and industry stakeholders that are open to the public, unless otherwise stated:

Timely, relevant coverage of court proceedings and agency rulings involving tariffs, classification, valuation, origin and antidumping and countervailing duties. - Phthalates CHAP teleconference. The Chronic Advisory Panel (CHAP) on Phthalates and Phthalate Substitutes will hold a teleconference to discuss possible approaches for their risk assessment; 11/15/10.
- Juvenile products. Commissioners Nord, Adler, and Moore to meet with Dorel Juvenile Group; 11/16/10 and 11/22/10.
- Footwear. Neal Cohen (CPSC's new Small Business Ombudsman) and the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) for an introductory meeting; 11/23/10.
- Gypsum, building materials. CPSC staff will be attending the ASTM C11 and Gypsum and Related Building Materials and Systems subcommittees meetings; 11/15/10 - 11/16/10.
- Ingredient communication. CPSC staff and the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) will meet to discuss ingredient communication for consumer products; 11/16/10.
- Cooking fires. CPSC staff and the Fire Protection Research Foundation will meet as part of the Cooking Fire Mitigation Technologies Project Steering Team; 11/16/10.
- Sports equipment. CPSC staff will be attending the ASTM F08 Sports Equipment and Facilities Subcommittees meetings; 11/16/10 - 11/19/10.
- Portable generators. CPSC staff will meet with the Portable Generator Manufacturers Association for an introductory meeting; 11/18/10.
- Stroller safety. CPSC staff, a Consumer Product Safety Consultant and Maclaren USA to discuss stroller safety and issues relating to strollers manufactured by Maclaren USA, Inc.; 11/22/10.
