U.S. and Turkey Conclude Meeting on Economic and Commercial Cooperation

The Commerce Department has issued a press release regarding the results of the October 19, 2010, meeting of the U.S. -- Turkey Framework for Strategic Economic and Commercial Cooperation. As a result of the meeting, U.S. and Turkish leaders announced several new initiatives to boost trade between the two countries that include a new joint U.S.-Turkey Business Council, establishing a working group on intellectual property rights and organizing two trade missions to Turkey in 2011.
